Neue Schule is a British company that designs and engineers horse bits, used by riders and trainers across racing, eventing, show jumping, dressage and beyond. Founded by Heather Hyde, the business grew out of one of the UK’s first bit rental services in the late 1990s, set up after she saw how hard it was for riders to find the right bit for their horse.

The name means “new school”, and it sums up their approach: rethinking traditional bit designs through research, careful engineering and modern materials, with the horse’s comfort at the centre of every product. Their aim is a horse and rider who work happily together, and they back this up with education through their Academy and a network of qualified bit and bridle fitters.
