How much does it cost to own a racehorse?
Costs vary depending on the type of ownership. Racing club membership is the most affordable, for instance with Ownaracehorse, who have micro shares available in a number of horses,and whose costs start at £99. Syndicate shares depend on the horse and number of shares, and we have various options, with Inside Track Racing Club being our main syndicate owners, with 10% typically available in their horses. Sole ownership training fees are typically £25,000-£35,000 per year plus entry fees, transport, and vet bills. We're happy to discuss options to suit your budget.
Can I visit my horse?
Absolutely! We encourage owners to visit and see their horses. Stable visits can be arranged by contacting us in advance. We also hold open days for racing club members.
How do I receive updates about my horse?
Owners receive regular updates via their preferred method - phone calls, emails, WhatsApp messages, photos and videos. We believe communication is key to an enjoyable ownership experience.
What type of horses do you train?
We train both Flat and National Hunt (jumps) horses, though the majority of our runners are on the flat. We're always looking for promising young horses to develop in both codes.
Where are you located?
We're based in Epsom, a stone's throw from the home of the world famous Derby, Epsom Racecourse. We have a large number of flat and jumps racecourses within an hour of us, and being within 10 minutes of the M25 we have great transport links and access to a number of racecourses both locally and further afield.
